YEAR 7 CAMPS &
ACTIVE EDUCATION

Key Outcomes Of A Year 7 Camp

Year 7 is a significant stage in a student’s school journey. As students transition into secondary school, camps and outdoor learning experiences build confidence, strengthen friendships and create a sense of belonging within their new school community. Based at Aldinga Beach, and other South Australian locations, our flexible programs can be tailored to suit the goals of each school.

Active Education camp packages provide exceptional opportunities for hands-on learning, challenge and fun in the outdoors whilst enabling each student to learn at their own pace.

Our Year 7 camps are designed to create experiences where students can:

  • Work collaboratively to solve problems
  • Learn through challenge and participation
  • Develop trust within their group
  • Build confidence through achievement
  • Strengthen independence and responsibility
  • Reflect on their actions and choices
  • Support and encourage their peers
  • Participate in outdoor recreation, outdoor education and adventure activities
