The role requires people who are energetic & fun and also professional, highly organised, flexible and capable of being part of a diverse team

Working with Active Education’s catering team will be a good fit for you if:

• You have or can apply for a DCSI clearance to work with children
• You don’t need a full time or regular income; or have other employment to augment the work with Active Education
• You are available for work during our peak period from Jan to May
• You can be away from home for 3 to 5 days at a time and can manage being in share accommodation with other staff
• You enjoy face to face contact with customers and like interacting and having fun with children and teachers
• You always put the customer first and work in a professional manner
• You are an organised person who has the flexibility and adaptability to work in different kitchens at multiple locations
• You can work autonomously while observing the recipes, standards and procedures set by Active Education for its catering services
• Your food safety focus is second to none  
• You can problem solve issues and think on your feet
• You work equally as well on your own as you do with a team of Active Ed staff
• You are digitally savvy and able to access emails and our staff intranet for rosters etc
• You are a settled person with your own car
• You have experience in preparing, cooking and baking good wholesome food for groups!
