Incursions and Excursions
Active Education has been providing in-school activities, day programs (incursions), and excursions to South Australian schools for over 30 years. We offer customisable packages for groups of any size, from 90-minute sessions, to half, and full-day programs.
As a mobile provider we come to you, or many of our programs can be run at local parks, ovals, and various National and Conservation Parks throughout South Australia. Each program is tailored to meet your desired outcomes and we can even include catering and bus transport if required!

Transition & Orientation Days

Our Transition and Orientation Days help students and teachers build relationships during key transition years. We utilise high-energy, inclusive activities to ensure smooth transitions from primary to middle school and middle to senior school.
Great Race

Experience the thrill of our Great Race! Inspired by the TV show, it features group and individual challenges that test teamwork, problem solving, and communication skills, fully engaging large groups of students in a fun and exciting way.
Dominoes Spectacular
Secondary
Dominoes fosters strategy, patience, and creativity. Students collaborate to create intricate designs, learn cause and effect, precision, and teamwork. Ideal for large groups with access to a gym or court, Dominoes encourages a collaborative spirit.
Claymation
Primary, Middle
Engage students with our Claymation activity! Students create animations using clay figures and stop-motion photography, fostering creativity and team work. It's a fun and educational introduction to media arts that always results in laughter.
Solar Rollers

Discover sustainable energy with Solar Rollers! Students design and race solar-powered cars, learning about renewable energy and engineering principles. Battery backup ensures fun even on cloudy days!
Wind And Flight
Primary
Discover aerodynamics with our Wind and Flight activity! Students will explore flight principles through hands-on experiments and fun activities like frisbees, paper planes, and kites. Perfect for budding scientists and engineers.
Resilience Builders

Our Resilience Builders program enhances students' problem-solving skills through group brain-building games. Students tackle challenges requiring teamwork and critical thinking, with a take-home string puzzle to extend learning.
Orienteering

Orienteering combines navigation, teamwork, and physical activity. Students use maps and compasses to find checkpoints, enhancing spatial awareness and problem-solving skills while exploring the outdoors.
Survival

Our Survival activity teaches essential survival skills like shelter building, food and water sourcing, and wilderness navigation. Students work together to develop teamwork and leadership skills in a fun and engaging environment.
Bush Skills Challenge - 2B or Knot 2B?
Primary, Middle
Our Bush Skills Challenge involves learning knot tying techniques and applying them to construct shelters for bush survival. A perfect activity for developing practical skills and fostering a love for the outdoors.
Nature Walks

Enjoy guided Nature Walks to explore local flora and fauna, learning about the environment and conservation. This activity fosters a connection with nature and encourages environmental stewardship.
Legend of krowmaeT
Primary
Krowmaet is a progressive team-building activity that challenges students with physical and mental tasks. Students utilise teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills to discover the "Legend of Krowmaet". This activity is ideally conducted at Belair National Park.
Kuitpo High and Low
Primary, Middle, Secondary
Active Education partners with Treeclimb Kuitpo Forest, offering an exhilarating tree-top aerial course combined with ground activities like Orienteering, Disc Golf, Survival and Aboriginal Culture.
Team Building

Our Team Building activities break down barriers and foster a positive, collaborative environment. Students develop communication, leadership, and problem solving skills through a tailored rotation of fun and effective activities.
Waterwise
Primary
Teach students the importance of water conservation with our Waterwise activity. Through hands on experiments they will learn about environmental responsibility. This activity is perfect for fostering awareness and responsibility.
Camping 101
Primary, Middle, Secondary
Introduce students to camping skills like setting up tents, building campfires and cooking outdoors. This session can also include lightweight camping, Trangia cooking, and leave no trace principles.
Disc Golf Challenge
Primary, Middle, Secondary
Bring the excitement of disc golf to your school! Students will learn the rules and practice their throwing skills, developing physical fitness and hand eye co-ordination in a fun and engaging environment.
World Games
Primary
Travel the world through play with our World Games activity! Students will play games from five regions, including a game by First Nations Australians, fostering cultural awareness and promoting physical fitness.
